I have learnt dance from:
- Dr. Vasumathi Prasad (Bengaluru, India)
- Kumi Nakamura san (Tokyo, Japan)
- Smt. Jaya Rajkumar (Irvine, CA)
- Smt. Usha Srinivasan (Irvine, CA)

My dance teacher, Smt. Usha Srinivasan started learning dance at the age of 8 from Guru Kalaimamani Malathi Dominic. Encouraged by her parents, she continued her abhyasa under Kalaimamani Smt. Indira Rajan, and Nattuvangam from Yuvakala Bharathi Sri R. Vijay Madhavan. She has performed in many sabhas, in Indian TV (Doordarshan), and also to raise funds for social projects. A Graduate in Computer Sciences, she additionally obtained her diploma in Bharata Natyam at Kalai Kaviri, Trichy. Over the last many years she has been spreading this divine art form by teaching the younger generation in Dubai and in the USA, ably supported by her husband and daughter. She believes that this divine art form will enrich the lives of her students and also bring them closer to Indian art and cultural traditions.
